VariZoom's top-of-the-line stabilizer system, the Blackhawk dual arm stabilizer offers heavy-duty precision components and a high-end construction, making it a terrific choice for broadcast, HD, and film cameras weighing between 10 and 25 pounds. The Blackhawk's reinforced, dual-dynamic arm system is as refined as it is robust. Adjustable over a broad range, the system can bear heavy cameras swiftly and smoothly while offering up to 38 inches of vertical travel. The two-stage, reversible arm bridge, meanwhile, allows left or right orientation and 4-inch up/down positioning. The arm will even carry cameras as light as 10 pounds with the free optional weight plate (and 15 pounds without).

The Blackhawk also boasts a precision, three-axis FlowTech gimbal, which provides a consistently fluid motion, especially now that it's teamed with a detachable, ergonomically sloped extension grip for improved handling. Perhaps the sturdiest feature, however, is the ultra-rigid form-fitting vest, which combines a contoured chest pad, torso-gripping four-point buckle system, two-stage reversible arm bridge, and height-adjustable chest plate. The result is a lightweight, cool vest that hugs and supports the upper body, making it possible to fly heavy cameras for extended periods.
